As exposições internacionais recomeçam após o bloqueio devido à situação de emergência de saúde com um projeto que se centra nas mulheres e no seu papel na sociedade e na arte para a emancipação e o reconhecimento dos direitos.
A Alfasigma é um dos patrocinadores do projeto “O Divino e a Avant-garde — A Mulher na Arte Russa”, uma exposição concebida por e com curadoria de Evgenia Petrova e Joseph Kiblitsky (Museu Estatal Russo), que estará patente de 28 de outubro de 2020 até 5 de abril de 2021 no Palácio Real de Milão.
International exhibitions restart after the block due to the health emergency with a project that focuses on women and their role in society and in art for emancipation and the recognition of rights. Alfasigma is among the sponsors of the Divine and Avantgarde – Women in Russian art’s project, an exhibition conceived and curated by Evgenia Petrova and Joseph Kiblitsky (Russian State Museum), which will be held from 28 October 2020 to 5 April 2021 at the Royal Palace of Milan.
Sacred icons, easel painting, sculpture, graphics and refined porcelain from the fourteenth to the twentieth century. There are about 90 works on display that in large part have never been exhibited before in Italy.
The structure of the exhibition goes through 8 different sections and 2 major chapters. The sections are: HEAVEN – Virgin Mary and saints; THRONE – Tzarinas of all the Russias; EARTH – Farmers’ horizons; TOWARDS INDEPENDENCE – Women and society; FAMILY – Rituals and conventions; MOTHERS – The dimension of love; BODY – Femininity revealed; ARTISTS – Realism and Amazons of the avant-garde.
As far as the two chapters are concerned, on the one hand, we have women and their role in society (saints and Holy Maries, empresses, farm hands and factory workers, intellectuals and mothers) depicted by important master painters: Il’ja Repin, Boris Kustodiev and Filipp Matjavin, Suprematist Kazimir Malevich, the artists of the years from 1910 to 1930, Aleksandr Dejneka and Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, the artist who painted the portrait of poet Anna Achmatova, to mention just a few. On the other hand, women artists “The Amazons of the Russian avant-garde”: female exponents of an extraordinary cultural, historic and social atmosphere, active in the early 1930s when they created original, innovative masterpieces: Natalia Goncharova, Ljubov Popova, Aleksandra Ekster as well as artists depicting socialist realism such as the sculptor Vera Mukhina with her bronze model of the statue Worker and Kolhoz Woman, commissioned for the USSR’s pavilion at the 1937 Paris Expo.
